Checking in

Time for a check-in. The truth about myself is...

To level up, promote, grow, mature, become more, go higher and deeper in the Lord all are great aspirations.

The reality of that process requires you to emerge from a former self to expose a new self.

This transition can be painful. It is the growing pains that causes awkwardness, discomfort, frustration, irritation that you can feel in your flesh. You can feel the breaking and emerging.

The question is, will you allow yourself to remain in the breaking to let the process complete its work for the breakthrough or will you abort the process?

My decision now is to stay in it.

I am walking through the open door and the shedding of what cannot go is being stripped as I pass through, and it is uncomfortable.

Exposing what emerges and discovering what's on the other side is worth the discomfort.

How long will it last? As long as it needs to.

Allow yourself grace and mercy to go through process.

It was NEVER expressed that it would be easy but that it would be necessary to get you to where God desires you to go.

Trust the work of the Holy Spirit. Trust the Potter. Trust the conductor of the grand orchestra of your life.

Surrender and move with Him and don't give up. Stay in it and let the process do its work.

God desires to complete the good work He started in you.

Will you let Him?

From Jesus:

Stay in it Jennifer. Don't give up. Don't fall back into old patterns of behaviors. Don't retreat to a casual routine. Keep pressing. Keep leaning in. Keep moving forward. I will lead you where you need to go. Let this be your confirmation: You are on the right track. Now, stay on it.

Question of the day

Will you go further than leaning and pressing into the process by committing to staying in it?

As uncomfortable as it will be, remain in the process. There is much in the discomfort that God wants to show you, let Him.
