Second Wind

Published on 5 October 2024 at 19:30

Today I am feeling on top of the world.

I just completed a major task that the Lord gave to me. I feel accomplished.

I feel a surge of energy, renewed strength, joy, excitement, hope, surrender and fresh agreement with the Lord.

Oh, how I have prayed to be in such a place of joy in this journey and hope restored.

The Lord answered my prayers.

I feel in this moment like I am being carried by a fresh wind.

My situation in the natural in some areas have degraded, others have remained the same and I'm seeing improvement in other places. Even still, I am soaring.

I believe in who I am and what God has called me to do.

I am excited and hopeful again for my future and what is to come.

I ready for the new.

If it is belief, agreement and prayer the Lord's needs, all have been given.

My countenance if lighter, my smile brighter with a huge pep in my step.

I am walking with confidence and assuredness that if I follow the Lord all is well.

I don't know where or how He is leading but I know who is leading and that's all that matters.

I surrender afresh to His leading.

I give Him more of me, more of my time, my obedience, my ear.

The faith He gives to me, I put it back in Him.

Oh Lord, make me a masterpiece. Make my life what you have always intended.

I give you time, space, my hands, my mouth, my entire being, my very last breath to do as you will.

In that may you get the glory and may they all come to believe by what you create in and through me.

I thank the Lord that He rescued me from a pit. He heard my cries for help and sent me on this amazing journey with Him.

Where there was once despair, sorrow, pain and hopelessness, is now hope in a brighter future. Beauty from ashes is what He gave me.

Thank you, JESUS!!! I rejoice in who you are and what you have done for me.

I have embraced this new creature I am in this season.

I am PROPHETESS of the Lord who speaks the very utterances of God.

Who am I that He should choose me? I am His. He is mine. And I am looking forward to every step moving forward with Him into a destiny I am assured is mine for the taking.

From Jesus:

Now more than ever consistency is key. Stick to your routine. Choose routine over feelings. Your feelings are not to be trusted in this season. Be robotic until you have birthed what is needed in that you just do, don't think. Flow with me. Move with me. Get in a rhythm with me. Live supernaturally being carried on my wings. I will not let you fall. Simply don't look down, enjoy the flight. Let's go Jennifer. This is your time and your season. Move forward in me.

Question of the day

Are you hope filled or hopeless?

Pray for the Lord to restore your hope and joy and He will respond. You will soon find yourself being ushered into the newness of this season with hope, joy and faith. Cry out to Him and know joy is on the way.

On Joy and Sorrow

Kahlil Gibran
1883 –
1931

Then a woman said, Speak to us of Joy and Sorrow.
And he answered:
Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain.
Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup that was burned in the potter’s oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit, the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

Some of you say, “Joy is greater than sorrow,” and others say, “Nay, sorrow is the greater.”
But I say unto you, they are inseparable.
Together they come, and when one sits alone with you at your board, remember that the other is asleep upon your bed.

Verily you are suspended like scales between your sorrow and your joy.
Only when you are empty are you at standstill and balanced.
When the treasure-keeper lifts you to weigh his gold and his silver, needs must your joy or your sorrow rise or fall.

Scripture

Psalm 30:5

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Psalm 30:11

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness,

Psalm 16:11

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Psalm 28:7

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
