God's Wisdom

Published on 11 September 2024 at 20:36

Today, I am trusting God's wisdom.

I received some revelation today on my situation.

I am not a person that likes routine but I'm a ritualistic person.

I like to develop routines but I also like for there to be spontaneity and change. Not too much. Just enough so I don't get into a groundhog's day way of life where everything is always the same.

I will get bored, disinterested and unhappy with life.

I need to create, explore and discover more.

I need new challenges, environments and people.

Right now, the Lord has me still.

I have been asking for change, for more, for new and His response, "be still".

I'm like the impatient teenager that just wants to go out and take over the world with a parent saying, "not yet. There are still things you have to learn and there will be plenty of time for you to discover what's out there".

God revealed to me why I am to remain still and of course its brilliant. It makes perfect sense.

I am currently on a step that needs to be completed, and I need rest.

I cannot handle more. It is not yet time. This is a time of healing, detoxifying, resting and restoring. It is a time for quiet and stillness. It is the calm before the new season.

I'm asking for new, more, excitement and God is telling me to rest.

In our wisdom we can think we know what's best for us at any given time, but we must trust the one that exist inside and outside of time to lead us by His perfect wisdom.

We have no idea what will occur in the time to come but God does.

We need to trust that He knows what He is doing.

We sometimes can get distracted by what others are doing or by what we are use to doing and we have to surrender to the flow of what God is doing.

There is so much more at stake then we can ever imagine.

It is so much bigger than us and those we know are attached to us in the time we live.

We have no idea, but God does.

Let us be still and when the time comes, He will call us into action in His perfect timing.

From Jesus:

The time will come. It must. Wait on it. It wont be long now. Until then, rest love.

Question of the day

Have you sought God for understanding of your current situation?

Bring it before the Lord who generously gives wisdom.

Scripture

Psalm 23

A psalm of David.

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.
