Slipping away

I feel the slipping away of what was and the emergence of what is to come.

It seems as of late what was has become elusive.

I can't quite keep my hands on it.

My desire for my activities, location, people, relationships have waned.

My motivation has tanked.

Each day as I muster up the wherewithal to tackle yet another day, even with all the tenacity and grit I can muster up, I still seem disheartened by the day's events, left unfulfilled in many ways.

I began to speak honestly with the Lord about it and released the truth within.

What could have been fertile ground for guilt and shame for a lack of desire for what God had given me and the perception of poor stewardship, became an opportunity for revelation.

We must be mindful of how God shits and transitions us into the new.

He typically burns off the desire for the old, allows for there to be discomfort and a lack of ease so that you will let go and make room for the new.

I was in the midst of transition.

I now feel a peace as I have received clarity and instruction in how to proceed.

Sometimes we are so committed to what God has for us and loyal, faithful to what He has given us that we miss where He is taking us.

This is understandable as You have had to fight against spiritual warfare and natural patterns of behavior continuing to hinder and stop you.

As God is trying to grab your attention to tell you enough, it is as though He holds his hand against your forward movement because He wants you to move in a new direction.

Remain sensitive to not only where God has you but also to where God is leading you. Do not be where God is not.

If you no longer have a desire, motivation or care to be somewhere and it is coupled with continued internal resistance and external opposition, take it before the Lord in prayer.

Many are in transition right now and God is shifting you not just to a new activity but a new season.

If this is so, His grace will no longer sustain you where you are. It has moved to where He desires you to go.

Go with Him.

You will only have increased difficulty, frustration and irritation if you try to remain where God is calling you out of.

Seek God. Be sure it is Him calling you out and not the enemy.

It may feel the same, but God will, in time, provide the revelation as you seek Him.

Make room for the expansion. It's coming. I know you don't fully understand what is going on but you are being led to exactly where I desire you to go. Day by day seek Me and I will provide you with the steps you need to walk through your day. Trust Me and I will guide you.
