The moment God speaks and reveals to you where you are, where you have been and where you are to go can be exhilarating.
You get caught up in His presence and the mere awe of who He is overwhelms you.
God is real. God speaks. God is speaking to you. God really does have a plan for you. God is revealing His plan to you. God is with you, in you and watching over you. God reveals, clarifies, teaches, prepares, and provides for your past, present and future. Then, the next steps are given.
There is such a flood of emotions as the unknown become known only to step into more of the unknown.
Ultimately you have peace because God has spoken, and you know in this what the will of God is for you.
As time passes and the tasks have been carried out and the waiting for new instruction commences, the effects of those faith steps settles in.
The God tasks usually are big faith moves that could set you on the path, further on the path or shift the trajectory of your path to destiny.
Boldness, courage, reckless abandon of your own understanding, crucifying the flesh, determination, commitment and grit are all helpful but it is absolute surrender and the fueling of your faith that will sustain you and help you to navigate has called you to do.
The absolute high of a direct experience with the Lord as He speaks is enough to send you on your way.
But soon after the tasks are complete, now what? You wait.
And now, the after effect...
"Oh my God. What did I just do? What am I going to do?"
Sobriety settles in. Your understanding is breaking through.
You are now in the midst of the new, unknown, possible void/ emptiness.
You think the moment of obedience is crucial. What equally demands your attention as it is also crucial are the moments following the obedience.
Left in uncharted territory, doubt, fear, logic, regret, resentment, sadness, grief, discomfort, boredom or demand creeps in and has the opportunity to get you to look back.
What does one do in the midst of the after effect of acting on the God instruction (s)?
You trust God.
You trust the one that has called you.
Use this time as an opportunity to surrender afresh, detox from the world, crucify the flesh, detach from what was and transition heart and soul to what is and draw closer to God.
Know, in this time, you are vulnerable. Recognize the fragility of the moment. Let God do His work.
If God has led you, then that means He has somewhere for you to go. He has a will for you and His will will be done.
Trust Him.
Where do you have to go but in the arms of Jesus?
Know God doesn't play with you, toy with you or try to manipulate you for his own sick enjoyment.
He has a plan for you and is leading you somewhere. Let go and let Him lead you moment by moment, step by step, day by day.
No matter what it looks like, this is an exciting time for you!
The Lord has spoken to you.
This is proof that He is with you, has been with you all along and will be with you wherever you go.
Rest in that. Love, rest.
From Jesus:
Give me 3 days. I will show you what you must do. 3 days Jennifer. Deliverance is necessary prior too. You can't have what I have expressed to you and the presence of what is not of me. Light does not have fellowship with the dark. This is the preparation needed for what is to happen. I have not led you astray Jennifer. I am leading you forward. Rest. Enjoy this time. Your mind and body need it. Calm the mind. Calm the spirit. Rest, in, Me.
Question of the day
Has God asked you to take some faith steps that stretch you?
How do you feel?
Reflect on them and bring them before the Lord.
God has spoken and this a prime opportunity for the devil to get his two cents in.
God's instruction will move you forward. What the enemy does in this time will be meant to pull you back.
Stand. Stand with God and move forward in Him.
Scripture/ Instruction
Wisdom Bestows Well-Being
3 My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
2 for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
3 Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine.
11 My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline,
and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the Lord disciplines those he loves,
as a father the son he delights in.
13 Blessed are those who find wisdom,
those who gain understanding,
14 for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
15 She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
16 Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.
18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her;
those who hold her fast will be blessed.
19 By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations,
by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20 by his knowledge the watery depths were divided,
and the clouds let drop the dew.
21 My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight,
preserve sound judgment and discretion;
22 they will be life for you,
an ornament to grace your neck.
23 Then you will go on your way in safety,
and your foot will not stumble.
24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster
or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the Lord will be at your side
and will keep your foot from being snared.
27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to act.
28 Do not say to your neighbor,
“Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—
when you already have it with you.
29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor,
who lives trustfully near you.
30 Do not accuse anyone for no reason—
when they have done you no harm.
31 Do not envy the violent
or choose any of their ways.
32 For the Lord detests the perverse
but takes the upright into his confidence.
33 The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34 He mocks proud mockers
but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.
35 The wise inherit honor,
but fools get only shame.
